Seven year itch?

Today is our 7th wedding anniversary.
And it rains as hard today as it did then... brings back good memories :)
Simon is modeling my wedding ring today as it's become too tight for me to wear it in the past couple of weeks. Thank goodness I have the pregnancy to blame for that!

We celebrated by having a festive dinner at home with the children: cheese fondue. Very nice and cosy.
The children and I also prepared a delicious desert: biscotti and whipped cream and chocolates. Yum! Especially the biscotti, whipped cream and chocolate! Amber and Simon couldn't wait to dig in.

And about the seven year itch... last week I read in the paper that nowadays people are far too restless to wait 7 years to get an itch; it's actually five years into a relationship that crises emerge already. So we're past that point without even noticing... there's absolutely nothing now that stands between us and a lifelong happy marriage!

(Did I ever tell you about how our photographer screwed up almost all our photos? No? Well, that's a good story for next year!)

Congratulations! I wish I had some cheese fondue right now- you're making my mouth water!
As for the wedding ring, my six month old engagement ring is getting a little tight- if only I had a pregnancy to blame it on (then again, maybe not!!!).

hope you have a great anniversary. We've been together 7 years and haven't been itching so far so - so far so good. Love your blog and having tracked your post back really really love your wedding cake. Can really sympathise with you about your photos, we had 5 that we are happy about showing in public but has time goes on I realise it's actually not the photos that matter so much after all!!!! It rained on my wedding day too - it's supposed to mean goodluck. David and I have been married for 14 years now and we've suffered no itches whatsoever - just lots of laughs and lots of fun (and a few arguments - we are only human).
I agree that your dessert looks great - I'm sure it was yummy.
