In two weeks and a bit I'll be off to England! And I'm going ALL BY MYSELF. I will be visting my sister in Oxford, but when she works I will be spending a lot of time on my own as well. I'm so excited and a bit nervous too. A whole week without my little family... how will it all go? Perfectly fine, probably :)
It may be getting old for some, but I still love anything matryoshka
related. So it was a happy day for me when I found this cute bunting, stickers
and a drawing cover and all for very little money :)
I must confess that I never quite know what to do with stickers. As a child
I collected them, but I always thought it was a shame to stick them on
something, so I just kept them until they were all dried up. I think I'll just put them in a drawer again and look at them once in a while, just like then :)
I do love the design of these. I wish they were applications... I would stick them on all of our clothes!
Mmmm, we spent a gorgeous day at the beach today. It was the same beach that we went to last time.
It was just warm enough to be comfortable and although the wind was quite strong, it wasn't bothering us.
I was once again reminded that I love the beach. I do also love the forest or heath, but for me nothing beats the feeling of sand between my toes.
The children had so much fun. Simon was mostly in the water digging for little animals, Amber was literally rolling around in the sand and Linus loved to chase the seagulls. And Michel and I watched them and read (a few pages of) our book.
The surroundings, the company, the weather and the pace made this truly a perfect holiday-day.
It turned out that the wind was too strong to fly safely.
We still enjoyed ourselves though.
It was a spectacular sight to see the balloon fill up with air. Unfortunately that was all the action we were going to get. Although, we were also supposed to help fold the balloon and put it in the bag. Well, makes a change from folding the laundry :)
Next week we will try again! Fourth time is a charm?!
