On this Sunday that's dedicated to all mothers, I'm happy that my little birds are back at the nest after six days with their oma's. They had a great time, and so did we, but I'm so glad to be able to stroke their sweet sleeping heads again tonight.
This is what Amber made for me at school. She knew the accompanying poem by heart, even after 2,5 weeks of vacation and not having practiced it... I'm so proud!
And this the other present I got, an Oilily bag and perfume. Even though I don't like the mad commerciality around days like this, I must say that I'm *pretty* pleased with that cute bag ;)
On Friday evening we visited our friends who had just become parents. Here I'm getting acquainted to little Pien. Babies rule!!
Happy Mothersday to all you mothers!
oooooh i just love babies - especially new ones. if I lived my life over again i'd consider becoming a midwife.
glad to hear you had a lovely mother's day and happy to say i did to. children are just wonderful, aren't they!
and i love the bag - lucky you.

How lovely that your friends had a new baby to help celebrate a special day. My Emily was born on Mother's Day and nothing can ever top that as the most wonderful gift I could ever receive.
My children are adults, but I'm still at my most content when my chicks are back home in the nest...even for a few days to visit.
Your Oilily bag is perfect and it reminds me of the quilts!
