I love sewing fabric strips together.
It's wonderful to create a whole new piece of fabric out of all those different strips.
It's actually quite a lot of work, but very relaxing.
I used big and small scraps, new and vintage fabric. Some fabrics I bought, some were swapped or given to me. A lovely palette.
Here are some more patchwork strips:
I came across this pouch/wristlet that I made last year.
Hello, happy little pouch, I love your polkadots!
Inderdaad heerlijk om te doen en je komt zo ook goed van al je te kleine lapjes af. En het ziet er nog heel leuk uit ook.

I love the look of all those strips sewn together--and it's a great way to thin out the stash!

All those strips look so lovely together!!! Do you have any plans for the new stripy fabric?? A bag would be so yummy or a big scrappy quilt - yummmmmmo!!

hi! i've enjoyed reading your recent posts about family, thrifting and crafting...many topics I can relate to :)
The patchwork fabric made me smile, something special from lots of little bits of lovliness. Look forward to seeing what comes of it.
