The Christmas market

The Christmas market that I participated in yesterday was a great success!
Lovely atmosphere, no rain and good sales!

My friend and I were there to promote our websites (mine is still under construction!) and to just see how we would do at a market. We learnt quite a few things, but really we were very pleased with the whole day.

These tissue-boxes were a last minute addition to my goods... I like how they turned out.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience... something that we will certainly do again soon!

Bibalicious

I've been sewing lots of baby bibs recently. Most of them are intended for the Christmas market, but I must admit that Linus' bib stack has increased considerably as well. Which is a good thing since we are using a lot of bibs in our house!

Well, I'd better get back to the sewing machine. Making more bibs, of course.

Cold

Today Simon told me that his dinosaur was cold and would I sew it some clothes? How could I deny that sweet question?

Don't you think it's really rocking it's Amy Butler cape?! Simon was pleased, but ordered some trousers, a hat and mittens as well...

I had planned a sewing day for myself today (craft fair next week!), but I believe the only thing that I finished was this oilcloth/cotton pouch. At least I was pleased with the way it turned out. Perhaps I'll be more productive tomorrow.

I am very slowly getting into the Christmas mood. The oilcloth decorations that I made last night helped somewhat.
My goal today is to clear a space big enough for a Christmas tree. This will a challenge, I can tell you! My house is such a mess... I wished some Christmas fairies came and cleaned it up for me!

8 months

Happy 8 months, gorgeous boy!

You're such a bright, sweet, demanding cuddly little boy :)
You learn so quickly and you're so strong. You're able to sit unassisted and you have started to crawl.

You talk a lot and I have heard you say "mama" and "papa" more than once.

You are light (7,7 kgs) and small (68,5 cms), but you are happy and healthy. I'm so thankful that we've been able to leave that difficult period of crying and unhappiness behind us. You're a different boy now, you smile and you're obviously feeling comfortable again. You nap too!

With your two teeth you eat bread and porridge with taste and you love fruit. Vegetables, however, not so much. Still, we're making slow progress and you've been eating small portions of broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin and carrot.

Your brother and sister still fight for your attention and you love it. You enjoy sitting quitely with Amber reading a book and you love Simon's jokes and you always want to stroke his hair (jealous perhaps?).

You're a delight, Linus, and we all love hanging out with you!
