I made Amber some playfood for Christmas this year (I actually managed to make a few other handmade presents, but silly enough forgot to take photos).
So what's on the menu today?
First some pizza, already sliced.
I made this out of fleece and red felt. I made a whole circle first and then made the slices using my rotary cutter.
Then we have a healthy sandwich, covered with cheese, lettuce, tomato and a slice of cucumber. All made of felt and some batting for the bread (which could have used a bit more attention, but -no surprise- I was rushed for time).
Let's bake an egg. I made two of these.
Next up we have a bowl of healthy fruit... very important to have your vitamins!
And to finish off the meal a nice cup of coffee and some cookies!
Making this playfood has been a lot fun and very easy to do. I browsed the internet for inspiration and made up the rest as I went. Because I didn't have a lot of time I made everything using my sewing machine, which went well.
Well, I'm off to cook some real food now!
