These days I take my crafty moments seconds whenever I can. Quick projects usually still aren't quick enough. There are so many other things going on.

This little project, however, was literally finished in minutes. What a relieve it is that my plain boring diaper bag, which I've been carrying around with me for almost a year already, is now looking quite a bit better. Hello retro bag!

Despite my lack of time and energy I'm seriously thinking of participating in Rae's Spring Top Week. I would have four weeks to make a top for myself. It should be doable, right? Right!

So good

Some very good things this week:

• The sun! We've had nothing but beautiful spring weather.
• Cycling! On Wednesday I cycled to work, which is one hour each way. Very proud of myself.
• My little man! My funny, sweet little baby is turning ONE in two weeks time!

TODAY: I cycled in the sun with my little man... bliss!

My buffalo

Simon has been playing buffalo for months now. He wants to be a buffalo when he grows up. Luckily, buffalos are very gentle animals.

He made this little drawing the other day. I love it!

Kids ATC Swap

Amber and Simon participated in the Kids ATC Swap and they had so much fun!

They were both very enthusiastic about the whole project and both managed to bring it to a good ending.

When we got the list of names and addresses the first thing we did was look up in the atlas where all the countries and cities were.

Then for several days they worked on their ATC's .

Amber went with a happy theme.

We also printed tiny envelopes, which they decorated.

Amber wrote a letter in which she told about her life in The Netherlands, which we then translated into English (we attached the original letter as well). Simon dictated his letter to us.

After all the fun and hard work they posted their own letters.

And now they are receiving lots of exciting mail! Yeah, it was a lovely project. Hope to do it again sometime!
