I've been getting a little sewing done in the last few weeks. Just some simple projects, but it feels good to create again. The sofa needed new cushions and I made these with mostly thrifted fabrics. I'm happy with them -for now!

Singing
Singing for Sinterklaas. Linus is working hard to keep up with his brother and sister.
The next morning the singing was rewarded with a present in their shoes.

Simon and his well earned swimming diploma. His second one within a few weeks!
No more swimming lessons on Monday afternoons :)

Monkeys
On Sunday I decided to bite the bullet and despite the rain take the children to the zoo.
I believe it was my first real outing on my own with the kids, ever.
It was a very successful day. We all had great fun. And although I had a splitting headache at the end of the day I was so proud of myself for having pulled it off. I love my three monkeys.
Planes
The children have had planes on their mind since Michel left for Australia on Saturday. Simon thought daddy would be particularly impressed with this lego plane that he made the other day.
Linus told his teacher at playschool that daddy was on a very big plane where he would sleep and eat cucumbers.
