My rippled blanket is done!
It took me nearly 4 months to finish, although I didn't work at it all the time. Sometimes just one ripple a day, and sometimes a few more.
I've really enjoyed working on this project. Ripples are just so easy and relaxing to crochet... I'm really tempted to just start another one (I know two little boys that would both love to have one).
I used mostly acrylic wool for this, only the light blue yarn is a thick cotton. Nearly 95% of the yarn that I used was thrifted, which makes for a very inexpensive blanket (although I didn't keep track of how much it cost me).
Do you want to know what Amber thinks of it?
She's happy :)
I absolutely LOVE it!!!!! Great job! That is something I would like to make as well! Looks SUPER!

Berber, I found you on the NaBloPoMo site. You have a great site. Congratulations, this is a beautiful blanket. I try to knit but can't do more than a simple scarf.
I do know where Amersfoort is, although I don't think I've ever been. My mother's family is in Haarlem and Hoofdorp. Feel free to visit my site at www.ourlittlefamilyadventure.wordpress.com if you like.
